Ahh, gorgeous wallpapers. Candygram did an awesome job! Your Bono/Ewan one was quite amusing, great job with that. :D

You know what, I went to Hippopotamus when I was in France! lol..I'm so picky about food so I wanted something close to American. I had the most expensive hamburger I've ever eaten. :P

Ooh have a good time in Rome!!

Thanks ! ;D

It's amusing how some of us tend to go for what we know when we're in a different country. I certainly do when I'm in England ;) I'm not surprised about your hamburger ! ;D I don't go often at Hippopotamus because it's too expensive for me (plus you always have to wait for a table) but you're sure to have quality meat. There was a group of American people beside our table Saturday, I was amused to hear them repeat the names of all the dishes, trying to nail the French accent :)

I'll try to have a good time, and I'll certainly tell you all about it. I'm sure at least to see marvellous things !

It's good to know I'm not alone on the food thing, although I'm even picky in my own country. ;)

Ah, you're smart. Little did we Americans know that it was a super expensive restaurant! I was only in Paris a couple of days, but I figured all their food was just really expensive. :P

I didn't even attempt the French accent..I'm sure I'd be terrible. :P Google Translator can only help me online, sadly. lol

Can't wait to hear about Rome! :D

Ooh, let us know what you think of Breakfast on Pluto!

Happy birthday to your dog- my cat will be 14 in early July. And Hurrah for dinner at a restaurant with Mum! What sort of food does Hippopotamus serve?

While I can understand not exactly wanting to go on vacation with one's boss...it's ROME! What a beautiful city - I'd like to go back one day, when I was there I was really too young to fully appreciate it. Hopefully your boss gets a room with someone else! :D

Ah ha ha, I LOVE your wallpaper! It's on my desktop now. That warm, antique Fin de Siècle feel really comes across. (Now I have to start renting movies so I know who these actresses are on your fabulous wallpapers - first Fanny Ardant and now Barbara Schulz...I'm very lax about renting movies, as you may have noticed!)

Candygram's are also lovely - such a startling contrast to yours, very sharp, defined and cool.

First, happy birthday to you !!! ;D Come back later for your bday gift (I hope I'll have the time and inspiration to finish it this evening !)

Hippopotamus is famous for serving beef most of all. There are several of these restaurants in Paris and some others in other towns, and even in foreign countries it seems. It's good quality food but too expensive for me to go often ;)

Even if I have to share my bedroom with my boss, I'll try to think only of all the marvellous places to see. So much history to live in for a short time !

While it should be easy enough to rent Fanny Ardant's movies, I'm not so sure about Barbara Schulz's. And I know exactly how it is with renting movies, I often don't take the time either ! Thanks for your nice comments about the walls ;)

Oh lucky, lucky you! Going to Rome? *le sigh* I hope you have a good time there (and if I dare to ask for some pictures...?). :)

Lol, I've been following my friends' diet projects for years now, and they always manage to keep it up for a few days until someone breaks down. ;D I don't know how they even manage to cope with those few days! O.O I must say that a diet would never work for me, I don't have the guts for it...

Ah, candy's been doing a great job with these walls, they're wonderful! ♥ Ewan. *sighs*

Thank you Laura ;)

You'll get pics, don't worry, unless my camera doesn't work ! *crossing fingers*

I don't like diets, although I'd need to do one almost constantly. But life's too short... YOU certainly doesn't need one ! ;)

Do I see a bare-chested man in your icon? *danger of suffocating*

Yay for pics! \o/ I've always wanted to see Rome, but yeah, no chance yet, so at least seeing pictures of your trip would help. I do hope you'll be having a great time!

Lol, I must say that because I don't need a diet (yet), it's only a great thing for me - I don't believe in such things and it would be a pain to follow such strict orders (but I suppose it depends on the type of the diet mostly). And...pleasure is something I appreciate, I could never give up occasional candy! *sob*
