Alrighty, then. After 4 rounds of chemo(12 weeks), mouth sores, fever, genetic testing(positive for mutation), a double mastectomy, 29 days of radiation(bad burns, owwie) I am now cancer-free. I still have to finish the therapy for my lymphedema(arm swelling) and be fitted for a sleeve. I have a visit with my regular oncologist next week. I'm ( Read more... )

I had my second dose of chemo yesterday. So far, I feel alot better than last time. No throwing up, little nausea. I might make it through this mess afterall.

I drive 20 freaking miles out of my way to go to a manager's meeting today. I'm almost there when I get a call that the meeting is cancelled. No show-up pay or anything. food service jobs suck ass!
