I'm so so sorry. I'm a New Yorker so due to 9/11 I understand--to a point--what you're currently going through. It's utterly horrifying to think that such a thing can happen so close to home and that it can be so completely senseless and that people can be so cruel and inhuman. I don't know a thing about this terrorist group or what it is they claim to want but I do know that nothing they seek can be worth this. One would think that they'd realize from past experiences of other terrorists that this in no way increases people's sympathy with them but instead only adds to the cycle of hate.

I don't really know you (I friended you back in the Crucio-days) but I hope that you and everyone you know are alright. Best of luck getting through the next few days.

Luckily, I live in a region in Spain small enough to not be a main target for this kind of terrorist attacks. You can believe me when I say that I've been thanking this fact all the day.

The funny thing is that, in some forgeign media, they don't even consider ETA a terrorist group, and they call them "separatist"

Perhaps they haven't been the authors of the attack this time, but there have been many times in which they have taken lives with the only excuse of the victims being Spaniards.

Thank you for your words. *Hugs*

I heard about it on the BBC (we carry it at the radio station I'm at). Such a tragedy and such a waste. Seems like no one is off-limits to terrorists. I'm so sorry for you and for everyone in Spain. You must all be in mourning.

First of all, thank you for your words.

From what I've heard, the foreign media (specially CNN) have been covering the attacks all day.

The response of our people has been so wonderful that one cannot be but proud of being a Spaniard, but the sorrow and the pain will be forever in all our hearts.

Oy. First off, that's awful, and you and your country have my deepest regrets and *hug*s. I heard about the terrorist attack this morning, but don't really know anything about the situation. And I think it's something I should know about, because I wish more people knew what's really going on in Israel, so I imagine Spaniards would probably want people to know what's going on as well.

So I guess you're as good a person as anyone to ask, unless you'd rather not go through the whole thing.

Thank you for your words.

I will try to post in this journal anything new that comes up. I think the world deserves to know.
