Midwife Appointment
Well, after all that contraction stuff last weekend, I haven't progressed. I'm 2 cm dialated and 80% effaced. My dad should be in on Saturday evening and my doula has an important photo shoot on Saturday at 5:00. Maybe baby will come on Sunday! I really want to go into labor when Chris is home. Well, I'm 6 days away from my due date now. Well, my SECOND due date. Based on the day that I guessed was my LMP, I had a date of August 23. My first ultrasound also showed August 23 but I had another soon after that showed August 14, which corresponded better with my measurements. Update -- 12:30 PM Saturday
Well, after going to sleep at 5:00 am and waking up at 11:00 am, I actually got some rest!! Since I woke up, I've only had a couple of contractions. Nothing much this morning. I guess it could still happen this weekend but we're not getting our hopes up too much yet. It doesn't look like it's taking off just yet.

Ok, technically it's Saturday morning (38w3d) because it's 2:30 am, but contractions started Friday night at dinner. Here's the summary so far ( Read more... ) -
38 weeks, 1 day
- Well, I went to my midwife appointment today.
I'm up a total of 41.5 lbs to 154.5. That's up 2 lbs from last week. I'm 2 cm dialated and 70% effaced. Baby's head is LOW and she's in perfect position. Blood pressure was 98/60. I'm negative for GBS and everything is looking good!!
