Where do ya live siskinplace? If you live in NY I can tell you of a semi-anime convention.....if not I am sure there is one near you.

I live in Missouri, and there is one near me. I just usually forget about going to it, because it's usually in March when I'm head down in spring midterms and stuff. >.< But I would REALLY like to go to Acen (Anime Central) in Rosemont, Illinois, which is within driving distance for me, and someday I would like to go to A-kon in Texas (May/June) or Otakon in Maryland (August), because the author of Megatokyo often goes to those. Ikasucon in Fort Wayne (July) would also not be too much of a stretch, about a 6-hour drive.

They just started on in NYC in December I will tell if they decide to do it again :). If you would like to come here that is....lol
