Italy...makes you think about everything back home, and life. Can't quite explain it, maybe it's the happy that Jaime was always talking about.

I just helped make a change on our campus that affects maybe 5 students a year, if that. Yeah, well, I took a leadership class as a part of my major that was really terrible, all talk and nothing hands on. Things were a little awkward when they broke up, but it was only like a month before school got out so it didn't show so much. I hurt some muscle or tendon in my shoulder and I've had to sit out of practice since Wednesday. It sucks, but I knew a week before that that something was wrong. I was just so set on racing in Rockford that I wouldn't let myself not row at the regatta, especially knowing that we had 3 weeks in between that regatta and the next one ( Read more... )

My adviser just offered me a position as a TA for Religious Studies, though there might only be one TA, I don't really know. I miss Chad. He's been in Colorado for just over a year, that seems like such a long time. I know that moving opened up so many great new opportunities for him, but sometimes I wish I could just pop over to help with a project or go to lunch at Culver's together just to chat.
