Does that mean I'm not supposed to like reading hard core gay male porn (some of Pat Califia's latest springs most happily to my mind at the moment), just Mercedes Lackey's sweet stories of the Herald Mage and his boy-toy Stefan the Bard?

I guess they want to reassure the average bookseller that they aren't really trafficking in hard core deviancy. :-P

Whoever writes copy for Iris Print.

In fairness, the sample consumer copy went more like, "Boy's Love: slash, Yaoi, whatever you call it, we got it, between the covers." A little more clueful. But amusing to see a press trying to persuade booksellers to stock .. well, slash, without ever calling it that. As if the booksellers who would stock it were so clueless themselves.

Said galley, of course, will be at WisCon for everyone's edification.

Yeah. And all those C/P PWPs stashed on my hard drive - guess they gotta go.

Do I smell a WisCon panel??

Oh, all that C/P was written by women, so it was boys' love.

*gag*

Is it just me, or does "boys' love" sound like something NAMBLA would be into?
