Just a really quick note to say I am still alive. School is starting to settle into a good pattern with school. Kids and teaching is a balance I'm not the best at yet. Thanks to everyone who sends me good thoughts I hope that on off days, I can stop in more often and see how the LJ is going....

It's been 15 days of school, and things are finally settling down. My kids don't cry when I drop them off, they make it through the day without falling apart too much, kid one's numbers are starting to level off again, and I'm settling into teaching ( Read more... )

I just got word the other day that (drum roll) I got the teaching job. Sadly, I don't have much time to prepare, and it's for a grade I have never taught....so the learning curve will be very high. But it puts me in the same building as both kids, and that makes this neurotic mom very happy ( Read more... )

Okay group. Had kid one's endo appt. yesterday. Her HBA1C is hanging at 7.6, that's okay with me. Considering she's in the middle of a 2+ inch growth spurt, which throws off BG. As always there is room for improvement - but not too bad ( Read more... )
