Quiet Thoughts
Feeling lost at the moment. Not sure if it is because Jeremy is having a bad neck day and is resting, causing me to therefore be on my own. Not sure if it is because the time on my own is making me thoughtful. Just not sure. But I know that I feel spacey and thinky. Pen on paper once again
I miss writing. I sat and wrote a letter tonight because I had the time and it was too late to call, and it reminded me of how much I like paper and pen. I get caught up in typing (and after all with my writing it is much easier to understand typing) but there is something about ink on paper that feels right to me. Getting Old
So, 30 then. I dont feel like I am 30. 30 strikes me as an age where I should be settled, have a proper job, a house and mortgage, some kids even. Thirty was always that age where it seems like you should be well into the adult part of your life. Overwhelmed?
Have just finished my first week of uni and I really enjoyed it. Only, I found myself exhausted today and a little bit down. I think the initial "pretty, ooh shiny" has worn off and I am a little bit daunted by how much I have to do. Haha! One gift DONE! I have finished the scarf for Jeremy. It worked out ok and he says that he loves it. :o) One down, four to go. *dance* -
I-made-it part II
So I have now started two (read that two!!) of my home made projects. The second one is for SM for his birthday so I at least have a deadline for that one. I am planning on having that completed in the next 2 weeks. I will post info and descriptions on it once I have given it to him. Counting Down
Down to 6 weeks to go. (and counting) Is still a little scary to think that I am not going to be pulling in a full time wage (or possibly much wage at all!) in a month and a half, but OMG sooooo looking forward to leaving work. I-made-it Gifting Project
Ok, so I have started on my first home made gift. Am knitting a scarf for the Peon. I have learnt how to do stockinette (?) stitch (one knit, one purl) and it isnt too bad for a first try. It will be a nice plain blue scarf and at this rate will only probably take me until the end of winter hehe. ;o ( Read more... )
