Part of my day... more factual than a million little pieces!

Jan 26, 2006 21:46

I woke up at about 4;40 am. Keith had set the alarm for that time. He got up and I heard him talking with Natasha. Just vague voices upstairs. My back was aching and so were my hips and my left ankle. I adjusted my ice and turned my heating pad on. Fell back asleep ( Read more... )

Oh Sixen, that breaks my heart that the accident haunts you so. Bastard accident. That horrible driver.

Hang in there. I'm glad you're making progress. Given your issues with range of motion right now, Feldenkrais might be a worthwhile activity to pursue.

That sounds horrid. Take care, and do something nice this weekend ... sounds like you need cheering up.

If you can believe it, we are going to a car show so I can check out what kind of vehicle to buy.

I hope you are feeling better today...

Wow. That was a real clear insight into all the stuff you've been going through. I totally don't blame you for being freaked in intersections or near the traffic site. The accident was a serious event.

Keep up the good recovery, but yeah, don't wear yourself out too much. Sounds like progress is being made, though it must feel agonizingly slow.

At least it's good to see you around the Pancakes more often lately!

this is bullshit! :( It makes me so mad to think of every step being a chore for you, like this.

However, the possibility of crutchlessness in two weeks makes me really happy for you. :)

But I could throttle that driver.

I actually found a legal case where this guy who was t-boned became completely obsessed with the idea of murdering the person who hit him.

Thanks for your kindness. I'm looking forward to some periods without crutches too!

Oh, honey. I wish I could bring you dinner. You know, you might want to think about getting some meds or some kind of counselling to deal with the post-trauma anxiety. It's real and it's reasonable, but that doesn't mean you can't learn to let go of it somehow.

I spoke to the doctor about it and they said that they wanted to wait until my next appointment to reassess the situation (Jan 30). The doctor said, its okay to have your feelings - somebody came right out of the blue, destroyed your car, and has caused you massive pain and inconvenience and suffering but to make sure that it didn't linger for too long.

I figure that somebody who specializes with PTSD will be a help.

And I miss you! Dang the man and his GOT DAMN internet use policy.
