So, on Thursday, my cleaner called and my "crew" was sick so they could send a different crew on Friday. I agreed and confirmed an extra 30 minutes of cleaning to get the living room/dining room spiffed up for Sunday's baby shower. When I was growing up, my father (a doctor) and my mother (a nurse) were obsessive about hygiene. We had to bathe, keep our clothes clean and tidy, pick up after ourselves. I seem to have caught some kind of must sleep bug. I have slept so much since last Saturday...not continuously, in spurts, sometimes up to 5 hours. My house is a mess but I feel rested for the first time in years.
