Okay I weighed myself and it wasn't as bad as it should be considering how slack I've been (both food and exercise wise) for the past 6 weeks. I've gained 3.5lbs

Breaking up the exercise is probably better all around I would imagine. I'm waiting for my back to get a bit better so I can get back into some simple exercises like push ups and sit ups. I haven't done htem in too long and my pants are reminding me that eating kind of poorly and then not exercising isn't a great idea.
