Weekend Update - edited after accidentally posting during writing!

So, on Thursday, my cleaner called and my "crew" was sick so they could send a different crew on Friday. I agreed and confirmed an extra 30 minutes of cleaning to get the living room/dining room spiffed up for Sunday's baby shower. I went grocery shopping for some items for the shower and the regular groceries for the week

Despite the stresses it sounds like it went well. I'm glad! And it sounds like you had a nice time. You've shown that you can work around what this accident has done to you and still pulled off a great baby shower.

Bummer about the cleaners though :*(

Yes, my expectations on Sunday morning were pretty low and it was nice to get it all together (almost) in time. Keith really stepped up to help and in a way, the cleaners actions had a lot to do with his. And that gave me a lot of confidence that things are getting better between us...kind of blessing in disguise.

Its nice to have people over but its also nice when they leave if you know what I mean.
