Whew! I'm almost caught up on lj (my apologies to Yuriverse, Tritium, Ludickid and Moominmama) and I apologize for my quick perusal of everyone's entries.

I'm off to Vancouver and will fall behind again because I don't think I will have any internet access.

Yes... I got something for the algae in the tank.. it was gone within 24 hours. Yay!

I'm so envious of your weather. Yes.. I love COLD weather! -35 sounds just about my speed. I must be part polar bear. I'd also like to go to Vancouver someday. It's one of the cities I'd most like to visit. I've lived all of my life on the east coast and 30 years nearly in the same area.

my husband was going for work so I went along for the ride. We wanted to see if my ptsd symptoms (I think that's what I have) would follow me and also give me a chance to walk outside!

It snowed in Vancouver but the sidewalks were still better than they are here.

I got your card in the mail! Thank you so much. I'm such a bad holiday wish giver that I have a pile to go out in the mail still.:embarrassed:

I always wonder how often you pass somebody before you actually meet. I remember reading that Dennis Quaid had passed Meg Ryan on the street before they ever met. Later on, after they had met, he described the day they had passed each other down to the clothing she had on. For some reason, that story sticks in my head - I think he told it on Letterman once.
