I heard about the heat! I wish we could split the different, then maybe both of us will be happy. lol

I looked at wikipedia for Bougainvillea. What a beautiful flower/shrub.

Sounds as though you've had a lovely three days, except for that darned heat. I hope you have a relaxing rest of the day. Drink something cool. :)

P.S. I'd love to see some of your pictures. :)

Splitting the difference is an excellent idea!

Bougainvillea is beautiful but it has no smell. On a street that I drive down daily, almost every fence has it cascading over the top all the way to the ground.

I'll post pics in the future. I'm afraid to load all I need to do pics properly, my little laptop is pretty slow already. A few more programs might send it over the edge.

Hope you are enjoying your week. Thanks for reading & commenting:)

Yes, wonderful things. I am very fortunate.

One of the things I didn't put on my list is how happy I am that you are happy. I feel like something extrodinary is going on with you.

I feel the same way...by now, I've stopped pinching myself at least (lol). That's sweet, though, thank you! *hugs*

I can't handle this weather! I'm in a bedroom under the A/C too!

I like how Stephanie Meyer ended the series. :) I think you'll enjoy the movie.

I've been happy with my Canon PowerShot SD400 (digital). It's probably about 5 years old.

We have three pots of bougainvillea in our backyard. It's one of my favorite plants along with jasmine.

I just knew that you'd be as uncomfortable as I was. Can't wait for the cool down!

Thanks for the camera info. I can't buy one yet but looking & comparing is part of the fun.

Wouldn't it be great if bougainvillea smelled as pretty as it looked?

Going to rent Twilight over the weekend. I was all about Jacob - want to see what they think he looked like:)

Thanks for reading & commenting, Debbie.

"Lots of lovely ice cold water for you, honey!" Thank you! That's just what I needed.

Yes, I'll post some pictures, eventually.

This is the third day of temperatures over 97 degrees F.

Oh wow! o.O Good thing you have a car with air conditioning!

Strawberries plain, strawberries with brown sugar & sour cream & strawberry shortcake with ice cream.

Mmmmm.. :)

Bougainvillea in peak bloom - magenta, purple & red spilling over walls throughout the suburbs.

I have to admit I didn't know what this flower looked like, so I googled it. Beautiful!!

*hugs*

Did you get to the market to get strawberries?

I DID!! And they were delicious. I'll buy more tomorrow :)

I'm glad that it's finally cooling down. 97 degrees F is way too hot, especially in April. How's Annie dealing with the heat? Do you live close to the beach?

Off to read your happiness post:).

Hehe, I suck at doing this meme. I already missed 4 days :D

Sometimes life gets in the way of LJ time.

How's Annie dealing with the heat? Do you live close to the beach?

Annie lays on the tile floor in the bathroom or kitchen, stretched out twice her normal length & only turns her head if you walk by. No, I live inland from the beach about 30 miles. Downtown LA is between the beach & I to the east. Long Beach, to the south is a little closer.

More strawberries tomorrow - me, too:D
