On knuckling down

I have simply got to stop footling about and tidy up my sshg exchange fic. I have come so far, it is almost done, but those wretched little fiddly bits that need expanding. It is so difficult! And it all has to be woven back in to match the rest

Writing progress has totally ground to a halt here. I've written A and know I need to get to C, but haven't quite come up with B yet. There's still loads of time....

Today has so far consisted of reading the Guardian website (and going through my usual morning blood-pressure raising internal rant at the government), feeding the boys, getting some work done, fielding several phone calls from my boss, feeding the boys again, and wasting time on here. Shopping will be required shortly. The excitement never ends.

On a brighter note, I took my 6 year old to see the new Spiderman film last night. He turned to me at the end, a huge grin on his face, and said "I know why the film's called The Amazing Spiderman. Because he's amazing." Moments like that make the mundanity more bearable!

Yup, I know what you mean about the mundanity of it all...and those little shiny moments when they look at you like you have hung the moon. Lovely.

And can I just say how much I am looking forward to reading your fic? I loved Bat so much!

Well, trying to do up the same model corset as your are. I'm still trying to figure out some of the mechanics though. The fiddling will be coming later.
