the most abbreviated update ever
- No one showed up to the first Fibromyalgia/CFIDS support group meetup I held, but people already RSVPed to the next one which is good.
- I had my first appointment with a new rheumatologist today and he took 15 vials of blood and I hope that gives some answers.
- I am going back to the neurologist next month after not seeing him for like 3 years. ( ( Read more... ) -
A day in the life of ME (only a few will get that)
Fasted last night for blood work this morning
Tried to go to bed early
Didn't work
Never does
Can't find a comfortable position
Woke up after 3 hours of sleep
Went online from 4-5am
Tried to go back to bed
Waited in bed for sleep that never came
Got out of bed at 9am
To the stank of fish
and cabbage
and raw sewage
and kimchi
downstairs

My neurologist was on the show "Mystery Diagnosis"! (and a health rant)
So I was literally just having a discussion with my boyfriend a few hours ago about whether or not it's time I go back to my neurologist.. or whether I should see another rheumatologist.. I now understand why they search for weapons and have metal detectors at traffic court.. I am beyond fucking pissed right now. I got less than 2 hours of sleep and my dad had to drive me a half hour away .. walk in the freezing cold completely exhausted and in pain.. only to find out that the asshole cop why gave me 2 traffic tickets ALMOST 2 ( Read more... ) -
Quick update
- Endocrinologist #1 finally let me switch thyroid medications from Synthroid to Armour *does happy dance*. I've been on it almost a week and I think my body is adjusting to the change.. Currently on 1 grain / 60mg for those of you also on Armour Thyroid. PLEASE any of you also on Armour PLEASE share your experiences with me. I am crossing my ( Read more... )

I never heard of this Professor Simon Wessely before, but he sounds like so many assholes out there.. I had to share this video because it really made me laugh.
