So NIN's new album Year Zero came out today...And for some reason I do not have it in my possession. What the fuck is the point of pre-ordering an album from Amazon weeks in advance if they don't ship it to you until AFTER it is released everywhere else? Hehe! Thank you sweetness! *BIG SQUISHY HUGS* Hey.. did you watch the short film in my last post about CFIDS/ME? It's only text and music, but it's really well done.. and it's short enough (9 mins) that I actually got my brother to watch it! :O (I was shocked) I still haven't convinced my parents to take 9 minutes out of their busy lives to watch it (they were too busy watching American Idol and Dancing With the Stars when I asked them if we could watch it together on my dad's computer). Anyway.. I told my brother I really appreciated him watching it and he said he learned a lot about the illness he didn't know and that he wanted to ask me questions and sit down and talk to me next time I see him.. You have no idea how shocked I was to hear this! Okay.. I am totally rambling.. but yeah.. I definitely wanted you to see it if you haven't already... and I wish it was created 3 years ago. It's hard to get people to actually READ things, so putting a lil film together with music makes it a little easier I guess.. Okay.. sorry for ( ... )

My husband says the point of pre-ordering is to lock in at a lower price, but he's also going nuts because it hasn't arrived yet, and the funny thing is that he has almost literally *just* became a NIN fan, and now he's more NIN-crazed than I am ( ... )

Sometimes it just takes some time to convert people.. ya know? :P yeah.. I've been listening to NIN since my teens too! It's still weird when I see the kids on the LJ community and stuff.. I wanna be all like "I was listening to NIN since before you were born.." (in an old crotchety voice) :P Yay for old skool Trent fans!
