Independent Diplomat are a sort of freelance agency who provide diplomatic negotiating skills to smaller states and to organisations who should be running a country like the Polisario or the Kurds. A UN based office and one in Brussels which is part-run by a friend of mine.

Thanks for passing this along! Looks like they do really exciting work. I'd actually heard that the Marshall Islands had contracted out their diplomacy on climate change - didn't realize that it was these guys.

Any chance you could put me in touch with your friend? Would definitely be interested to get his perspective on breaking into the world of diplomacy. Or at least hear some interesting stories!
