Been a long time, eh?

There's two reasons why. One I think I've talked about before: I'm pretty reluctant to talk about work on here (you never know) and now that work is taking up nearly all of my life, that sort of deprives me of things to talk about.

So some good news. Work has been keeping me busy and has been mainly enjoyable. I found some really, really cheap Russian lessons that I signed up for - I just had my second class tonight and I'm loving it. So the lack of posts lately reflects a combination of factors, but mostly the fact that there has been very little of note going on in my life at the moment. Time outside work has been spent mostly reading and going out with people and either eating or drinking or both. Almost all packed up. Flight's at four, I'm gonna hop on the tube around noon and should make it out to Heathrow in plenty of time. Landing in Newark around 7:00 PM, the parents are gonna pick me up and then I'm spending the night at home in PA, then catching a 9:00 or so train down to Washington in the morning. So the week is not off to a good start. Friday was great - met up with Megan after work and we went to Cobalt for the free vodka with a gang of people, and then on to Nellie's until the wee hours of the morning. Weekend was spent organizing my research for the dissertation and doing a lot of procrastinating.
