warning: this is not an exciting reply, no expectations past this point...

so pictures are easy, you just upload them on your photobucket or whatever image hosting thing you prefer, and when you're updating you go to rich text mode and one of the link thingies above the text box is add image (it looks vaguely like a picture, if my memory serves me correctly), so you click on it and put in your image url. and then there it is and you can size it and all that good stuff....yep.
