Gone running

Done running.

reasonable speed (40 minutes, between 5 and 6 Km) not to the top of the hill but around it.

Running trough densely wooded and under-grown terrain on narrow paths. And it's dark . . . fun.

alo proof that I still have a reasonably good night vision.

If my "winter plans" had come to fruition, I would be on my way to a warmer climate starting today. I was intending - almost seriously intending - to resume running, or walking, or some hybrid there-of, once I got there.

The change-of-venue plans appear to be on indefinite hold.

Which probably means the same for the running, walking, or hybrid there-of.

Or... maybe not. What if I went outside - as you say, it's dark now, most of the time, even when it's light - and put in a mile (1.6 km) up and down the driveway? I wonder if I could do that in under 20 minutes?

I'm gonna go try.

Really.

I'll post again in half an hour.

Really.

22 minutes
Approximately 1.1 miles or 1.8 km
Watched the moon rise. Last of the sunlight glinting on the wings of high-flying aircraft.
It's a start, I guess.

Didn't think I'd actually do it, did'ja?
Neither did I!

11 miles isn't bad
(ignoring the decimal point)

I should start running again but my ankle keeps complaining whenever I start.
