Two weeks ago I visited an elderly lady who is a member of my church. She is "homebound" and does not get out much. The visit was prompted by an effort at church to visit people who are unable to make it to services. She and I talked over two hours that afternoon, because I am perfectly suited for such visits. The company Hubby interviewed with made the offer to the OTHER candidate. We are so disappointed and discouraged. Maybe the dude will pass on it and they'll then make hubby the offer, but that's a slim hope ( Read more... )

Hubby said interview last Tuesday went well. They only interviewed one other guy besides them. Of course, they may conclude that neither guy is the right pick, but hopefully we hear back a positive answer this coming week ( Read more... )

Hubby has big big interview 10/20/09. We shall see.

Time has shifted into a higher gear. Can't believe we've burned through another week. Where did "down time" go? I would probably feel more rested if I didn't tend to a 3 yeard old all day. But he's been very sweet lately, and I'm trying to follow suit.
