Today is a better day. I did not mean to jump right on the gloom and doom train. Hubby is going to start the new job sometime mid February. There is no hurry for us to relocate, as his brother lives in Chicago already and can put him up indefinitely. We're going to see how things go. In memory of my Pawpaw and my husband's sister Kelly. My grandfather fought a good fight, rallying after chemo for two years before dying of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma at 87. But my sister-in-law, she was 30, and for her to die so young of the same thing broke our hearts.

Well, we are having a merry old time out in Everett, WA. It's a different household, for sure. Lots of family, lots of food, lots of kids, lots of noise. Just needed to express how COMPLETELY assured I am that I made the correct decision not to become a music educator by profession. This is so the last school year I try to teach children to sing, for surety sure. Next June, I am DONE. I'll teach crafts, I'll work the nursery, I will cheerfully volunteer elsewhere. But it aint gonna be in choir.

I see that sj_everyday has a secret santa. I am considering participating. But I've never written anything! Not for someone else to read. After a decade in the fandom, should I finally write something of my own? Eeek. I guess I have until Friday to decide.
