The most recent email from our Central Europe volunteer coordinator:
"Be wise; be cautious; stay alive. Don't pick up any dead birds; stay out of Hungary, France and Monaco. If you live in Hungary, stay away from political rallies and their attendant bomb threats.
"Call if you have questions."
That's encouraging - isn't it?

Strange coincidence, I got an email from the Metro-Detroit Alert coordinator:
"Be wise; be cautious; stay alert. Watch out for orange barrels, cones and men in orange vests. Becareful of holes in the ground. Don't pick up women walking along the streets with no teeth. Stay out of the Cass Coridor. If you live in Warren, Ferndale or Hazel Park, stay away from crowds at Value Furniture and their dangerously low prices."
I feel ya...

"Be wise; be cautious; stay awake. Don't pick up any dead deer; Only shop in supermarkets ending in -Mart. If you live in Farmington, Manchester or Penn Yann, remain upwind of freshly-fertilized fields. If you go to the one and only mall in the area, stay away from American Eagle and other tacky stores with outrageously high prices."
