ok guys. whats the best ska show you've ever been to??

i saw spunge last year it was amazing!! and i know its not technically real ska, but yeah whatever, it was so much fun, just getting out there and dancing away. thats the thing about ska gigs you can just get out there and forget about things that worry you cos the music is just so much fun, ( Read more... )

lol, i "slow danced" twice at farse gigs with louis out of the salon lol.

my best ever gig wud have been my first proper one-it too was also a spunge gig and it was just amasing. it was in a small venue that cud only hold about 90, but i'd just got back with my boyfriend at the start of it so i was on a complete high. before they started to play the venue went pitch black and then there was a spotlight and carmen burana by carl orf( think thats what its called...i think its what they played when damien was born in only fools and horses) and we all stood on the tables for some reason.
That gig was got me into ska really( i had always loved madness, but never realised it was called ska). the whole skanking thing , just loved it.

close runner up wud b most farse gigs(of which there are many).

ah, must have been brilliant being super happy before a ska gig.
skanking is the funnest, skanking on tables sounds even more fun!!

farse supported when i saw spunge, i remember them being pretty good!

I've heard of [spunge] good band. Their site rocks.

I wish I lived in the UK..All the best bands in the world are created there.

hey!! i saw spunge in february!!! thwey were amazing!! i loved them. I tottally agree with wot ur saying.. u can skank away not worrying about what u look like because everyone else is doing the same!! its great!

I saw Spunge a few weeks back and they were amazing! Jesse James also played and they ruled aswell, Im just waiting for them to get there asses back to my town to play again! :D

i saw farse on their last tour. was a well good gig. not too clued up on much new ska stuff, got any recommendations?
don't think i'd be too keen on 'emo-ska' but i'll give anything a go!

i saw uncle brian with 4ft fingers,phinius gage and lukash on july 3rd, and they were amazing,the atmosphere was amazing the gig was sold out!
then i saw them again on the 17th july at glos park fest and they were even better and gonna go and c them again this saturdayyya dn i cant wait :D
