So, turns out, I didn't go to the go-Israel rally.  It's not that I don't care, I just don't want to be out in the heat downtown yelling and stuff.  I almost went just because Rachel was there, but I was basically dying, and the prospect of a long, long, cold shower kept me at home.  Sorry Israel, I was there in spirit.

don't mind that you missed the rally, it wasn't anything spectacular. maybe 200 people tops.

i blame the coordinator, who scheduled it the same day as the rally in san francisco. cause we all could have used a trip to sf, where it's only 90 as opposed to 105.

sorry you guys have no power.

I think the idea was that it's supposed to be on the same day as the one in SF. The Silicon Valley Jewish community is on a sort of campaign to empower itself and be seen as an independent force to be reckoned with.

Well, yeah, but there were other ones on that same day, too. There were similar events in Seattle, Boston, etc. But I agree with your point. I feel like as a whole, the SV Jewish identity is trying to force that crowbar in between them and SF.
