For those who are not on facebook:

Saturday morning we noticed Kale was limping a bit, and not using his right front leg. We figured he sprained it, since he is always running and jumping around and playing with Brigid, so I thought if it doesnt get better by Monday we will take him to the vet for an xray. I can sympathize. The same thing happened to my beloved beagle, Buster. He was in so much pain; the only time he seemed like his old self was the first day or so after his weekly cortisone injection (at the time they were treating him for a vertebrae injury). I hope you find peace, for yourselves as well as for Kale. Sending many, many supportive hugs.

Hard hard hard hard decision. We are there with our Yakul. This is the longest week of my life. *hugs* As soon as the vet gets back from vacation on Wednesday, we'll have to schedule an appt with her. She may be able to come to the house, which will be a great stress reliever, but certainly won't make it any easier. I'm with you in spirit. *more hugs*
