i get that a lot. but the more interesting question is what part of a person decides what is sick or wrong? is it an inbuilt idea or merely something that society instills in us?

I believe it's conditioning of some kind that causes a social stigma to be placed on those who do not conform, but i'm not sure how...
In this case I'd guess it was the "taking pleasure in anothers pain" that seems evil.
