MY AUNT IS PREGNANT!!! Perhaps it doesn't sound too exciting, but for me it is. There's something poetic about a baby coming into the family a few months after my father died.

The reminder of the better things in life was much over-due.

I have just spent the past two hours reading through 26 pages of the lj "who_got_in" message board regarding english graduate programs. Consequently I am now surrounded by dozens of Werther's Original caramel candy wrappers and am feeling a bit queesy -- only a fraction of which can be attributed to the candy.
