6 months of corsets and a modest success. VERY pic heavy.

 I decided to start making corsets about 6 months ago for myself. There have been ups and downs... mostly downs... but I'm just starting to get the hang of it.

Below, I present the travesties that make up my corset attempts and my latest one, which I'm actually quite proud of.

You did a really good job. :) The only tip I have is to try to add more boning next time - you have a few wrinkles and usually more support with boning can fix that right up. :) Also, you could think about adding a flap of fabric to the back to go behind the laces, unless she wants to show skin.

Your first attempt is MUCH better than mine was - It was the first thing I'd ever sewn on a machine, and I really should have learned to sew on a machine FIRST before trying something like that. XD
