fun event of the day:

walking along skiles (which i avoid as much as possible) i passed some dude handing out flyers (hard to believe, i know). i hate taking flyers, then i realized he had a booth set up too... for amnesty international. so when he tried to hand one to me, i said "i hate amnesty international" and kept on walking.

so we're in the new apartment now. as always, it isn't as dreamy as we imagined it, but it is an improvement. for example, there aren't a bajillion giant ants crawling all over the place and dying. also, we have yet to be scowled at by kids mad at us for trying to drive through the parking lot when they're standing around doing nothing. but, our ( Read more... )
