By proxy I don't remember much about who I am or where I came from, but I for some reason think I'm pretty sure magic doesn't exist.

The lack of memories seems to be an extremely powerful magical spell to me, and the book more a magic artifact. I assumed everyone knew about magic.

Magic always struck me as a fantastic and wonderful thing. Not much wonderful about forgetting who we all are, to me, but maybe I read too many fairy tales that I don't remember.
