[His handwriting is small and meticulous, but only because he was actually focused on making it legible. It slants slightly down the page, without the benefit of lines to keep it from doing so. By proxy I don't remember much about who I am or where I came from, but I for some reason think I'm pretty sure magic doesn't exist.

Or didn't, I guess, since these books are definitely pretty magical.

The lack of memories seems to be an extremely powerful magical spell to me, and the book more a magic artifact. I assumed everyone knew about magic.

Magic always struck me as a fantastic and wonderful thing. Not much wonderful about forgetting who we all are, to me, but maybe I read too many fairy tales that I don't remember.
