[His handwriting is small and meticulous, but only because he was actually focused on making it legible. It slants slightly down the page, without the benefit of lines to keep it from doing so. He pauses no less than twenty times halfway through any sentence or word.]So anybody can read this? That seems kinda weird to me. I dunno, maybe it's ( Read more... )

It's strange at first, but it's nice to be able to write to friends so easily.

Did you dream about living in a tree?

Yeah, once I figure out whose handwriting is whose, at least.

Nah, I mostly dreamed about flying on a big winged lizard.

It takes some time ♥

Really? That sounds exciting!

I'll figure it out eventually.

Pretty sure it is. ...Was. I dunno.

I'm sure I'll get used to it.

This place takes some getting used to.

[Pause.]

Nice art. [She sketches out the wingbones of a bird in swift pencil strokes next to one of the dragon sketches, and adds a "?" next to the drawing.]

Certainly looks like it.

Thanks. [There's a pause while he looks at her bird wing for a moment, and he draws around it a vague guesstimation of what Toothless' wings look like. He couldn't really see them since the dragon was flying at the most vivid memory he has of him.] ...leathery, I think.

Where the hell'd you come from if you think this is normal?

skimpysandwich December 4 2010, 05:08:35 UTC
Nowhere that I remember. Call it wishful thinking?

Yeah. Magically transferring writing is perfectly normal. Which means you're the weird one.

And yes, anybody can read whatever you write, and vice versa. You'll probably learn more about people than you could want to this way.

Hey, it could happen.

Joy of joys. Another plausible closet dream of mine: voyeurism via hand-written notes.

Well, it certainly seems to do it for some people.

I'm hoping you picked up on the sarcasm. Maybe I should change my handwriting when I don't fully mean what I say.
