Question for the locals:

A friend needs a cheap apartment that takes dogs (she has two) that would be available as soon as possible. Anyone have any suggestions or possibilities?

Between the unexpected game of Settlers and the unexpected conversation, it was a good evening.

So, a question that came up in the conversation: everyone talks about pie in the sky, but what kind of pie is it? Most pie fillings are heavier than air, after all.

Also, where does one find anti-gravity pie tins?

I meant to mention it at K'Berg tonight and forgot. Opus is going away again. It sounds like this time is for good.

Found a neat video of a Norwegian knighting ceremony. The new knight is the honorary colonel-in-chief of the Kings Guard and its fun to see him reviewing the troops.

Theres a new blog thats going to be starting tomorrow -- by George Orwell.

The Orwell Prize is going to be posting Orwell's diaries, starting with Aug 8, 1938. Should be a lot of fun to read.

The Eno fest was wonderful fun. Girlyman was as awesome as always. Next year, it'd vote for less humidity though.
