I just had a great day at work. One of the projects I've been working on wasn't extended and I had a bunch of hours still allocated for it. That may sound like a bad thing, but it left me with hours to charge without a specific goal or deadline, so I got to spend the day on general infrastructure or stuff that will make my life easier later, but ( Read more... ) -
sick day
For the first time in a while I took a sick day. I woke up this morning with a sore throat. I probably could have worked, but I didn't want to push myself. It doesn't feel bad enough to be strep so hopefully I can shake it by tomorrow. -

I'm heading to AC today, won't be back till Monday. -
Hawaii trip
Been so busy traveling recently I haven't had time to blog.
On May 22nd (a Saturday) me and zippiner left for Honolulu.

Disneyland
Me and Zip spent the whole day in Disney Land. I really do mean the whole day, we got there right as the park was opening and left as it was closing 16 hours later ( Read more... ) -

off to Hawaii
I'm heading off to Hawaii then to LA for a business trip and then hopefully to Dallas for A-Kon. I'll be back in about 2 weeks. -
Meep Meep
Yesterday and today a road runner decided that the top of our swamp cooler was a great place to sit and call out. zippiner thought she was going crazy hearing something until we found the source of the bird call. I hope it's not thinking of building a nest up there.

Repo
Just got back from seeing Repo: The Genetic Opera at The Guild and it was awesome. The director was there and he actually encouraged us to do shout outs during the movie. I saw him in the lobby before the show and got him to sign my Repo DVD. The Guild may be starting shadow cast performances of Repo and if they do I'll probably go.
