I hear that Joss Whedon's got a new series starting next fall on Fox, called Doll House, starring Eliza Dushku. But that's just what's in Michelle's latest issue of TVGuide, and that's *all* it says; imdb doesn't mention anything, and I haven't seen it around anywhere else.

Akash died in his sleep early this morning. He was a bit of a puzzle, this one. Three weeks ago he'd lost a little weight, and I noticed he had some infected ulcers in his mouth, and the obvious conclusion there is that he's not eating the crunchy food because his mouth hurts, so he's losing weight. We've had several groups of kids come by so far tonight. Lots of little girl princess/fairies, boys dressed up like superheroes. Joe saw one little girl pirate. Samira just died, a little over an hour ago. Here at home, curled up on the bed with people and a heating pad and nice soft blankets. Her weight had dropped to just 4.6lbs, down from the scrawny 5.75 she had been on Wednesday last week (down from 7.25 in July) when the vet said she only had another day or two of life left in her. My intestines hurt. They started hurting last night, and haven't really gotten much better. I'm exhausted after about six hours of sleep, and I started feeling nauseous about 3/4 of the way to work this morning. I've got that under control, but it creeps back periodically and that sucks.

Feel like crap. Blah.
