Deconstructing Hop

After I posted about Hop last week, my friend Kayleigh (you may remember her as my partner in snow squid construction) said she'd go with me. So. I've seen Hop, and Internets, it was far weirder than I expected. Your write-up is a riot--I enjoyed it tremendously :D

(Much, much, MUCH more than I'd enjoy the movie--I think the stuff you've alluded to with humor would get my goat so bad that ... I don't know, she'd stop giving milk?)

So, um, if this is the sneak sequel to X3 in which Phoenix sends Cyclops away to make him happy, what does that say about her relationship with Scott?

I believe the answer is: Phoenix wants him to be happy, but is also jealous and possessive and so she makes sure he's happy in a place where there are no women, and his closest relationship is with a CGI bunny.
