Hello all!
So first off, this is not a health-related update! Yay! This is a thread about pursuing dreams, though.

It would be easier to spread the word (and know what we were volunteering for) if you told us more about this. All you said is that it's to replace "another camp that changed in nature". What exactly IS this event about? For whom?

Sorry, I forget that there are a bunch of people who weren't around for the beginning of this journey.

SPARC is basically a program for gifted and talented students, and there families. It's a mix of interesting classes/seminars/etc that deal with both things like making things go boom, poetry, etc, but also things like "how to navigate unhelpful school systems", "how to be social when you hate social events" and things like that.

Sounds awesome. For what age of student?

Also, for working the event, what kind of positions are available? What kind of help do you need?

I believe 12-17 is our general age range. And I think just about everything is on the table at the moment. We are figuring all things out as I write.
