Friend who shot a bunch of meth into his veins is alive and e-mailed me his phone bumber. I think I'll call him when I have time but I'm not sure when that'll be. I need to get a calling card but that requires money. I'm not sure how long I'll want to talk to him or if I really do. I just feel obligated to do so since I asked for his number.

While I don't know this person, I will question where such a melodramatic intravenous drug user belongs in your life. You've worked so hard to give yourself and Anthony a good space to be in, I hope you won't make it more difficult for you by allowing the wrong sort of people to stress you out with thier self-destructive behavior.
