Is it weird that I'm thinking of changin my major? I desperately want to get out of my parents' house and out of Lima. The only way for me to do this is: 1)Marry someone rich and run away with them (and my kid) to somewhere I'd like to live. 2) Get a degree, get a job and hope it's somewhere where I want to live. 3)Get a high-paying job that ( Read more... )

Have your thought about massage school? Still in the feild of helping people, wihtout life or death consequences. Less pressure, eyt a high level of prestige, skill, and income. I have some freinds who do that kind of work. My sister from college lives at a ski lidge and does massage therapy for her job.

For a woman with a child, job and school 75% is not so bad for a midterm. you have plenty of time to raise your grade, and you are already amazing, grades aside!

i adore you, annie!

Another good careeer aspect (and I know these are in high deman in Australia) but what about being a Naturopath, you're already half way there with what you have been learning to do with the body, and in naturopath you learn about massage, natural medicines/herbs and the like, acu[puncture (if you want to learn it not necesary though) and various other things, my sister is a studying naturopath and she seems to really like it, shes in her 3rd or 4th year at college for it but thats because shes chosen to do eberything there is possible to do in the course.

That sounds like that would be neat. I should look into what all that entails and where they train for that kind of thing around here. (Like, if there's a school for that in town). If not, I'm thinking of getting certified in something, getting a job and going to school part time. Of course, I'd like to learn more about it. If it sounds like something I may do be prepared for me to fire a million questions at you about your sister's studies.

If you do get into naturopath then instead of me answering questions about my sisters study I'll go that one extra and give you my sister email, shes not on often but you could converse thru email :)
