The unit came back this week. It should of been me. Almost every piece of shit event I'm going through (the hotel, the unit bullshit) would not even exist if I deployed. If there's a reason, CAN I FUCKING KNOW IT NOW?!?

I got a birthday hug. yes, you read that correctly, a birthday hug. pretty much the icing on the cake of my day. a complete washout of a birthday. but I guess that's to be expected for the kind of year it's been. I'm going to livewire and probably whistle stop when Wendy gets home from school. I totally need this.
