Hey there -- I'm sorry to have been cut. I must say, I think your posts on addiction have been fascinating, and have definitely challenged my (previously-unexamined) assumptions about addiction and addicts. I haven't looked at sfd_anon in a long time, largely because anonymity gives even greater scope than pseudonymity for people to be asshats to other people -- I'm sorry to hear you're the butt (so to speak) if other people's assholery.

I'm glad that my entries have given you a different perspective on these issues. That's really good to know, that I'm not just wasting my words because that's kinda how it felt in my ontd_f post. Admittedly I should have considered how controversial some of my statements were (mainly "what's wrong with using heroin? I like it"). I should have either left that out or explained my point in a better way (I was referring to being prescribed a maintanence dose, just as they do with other opiate substitutes).
but to read such vitriol over in sfd_anon, stuff that's not only vicious but untrue, is really hard, especially when someone's leaking stuff from my locked posts here :\

Just wanted to say I've been there - both with leaked entries and being trolled on sfd_anon in the last few months and it is so emotionally draining. Do whatever it is you need to do to feel comfortable (this is why I made everything up until about June of this year private).

Thanks for your comment. I don't understand the motivation to hurt people this way. And the stuff they're saying is untrue, which makes it even more infuriating. I am open about my flaws y'know? They don't need to make up any more, I've got more than enough :\

Thanks, yeah there was a lot of really horrible (and untrue) stuff written there that was terribly hurtful. And to have someone leak stuff from a locked entry was just the last straw. I kinda went on a de-friending frenzy :\
