Holy crap it was cold today. 10 degrees and winds of 22, gusting to 39, when I left the house this morning, 19 and calmer now. Got a call from momaround 1040 inviting me to join the family for home-cooked brunch; got there around 1200 after a stop for bacon, which didn't actually get cooked. Well, I think that pretty clearly cinches the question of "can my macaw be left unattended, out of her cage, all day?"
