If you don't feel bad, then are these simply second thoughts? Or a final farewell to the "old self"? What I most admired about you was your honesty and openess, but I understand that means shit because this respect comes only over the internet and has no influence on the going ons of your life. Whatever you do with your life, if it brings you closer to the prosperity and happiness you desire, then go for it. Be an asshole if that's what it takes. Good luck! (And by the way, there are many different ways to be an asshole, and some are much more productive and better for society and yourself than being just a kind person. But then there are assholes who are just a giant pain to everyone. But if you do what's right for you, it should be what's right for everyone and everything else too.) *hugs* ~ Nathallie xx
Well, I do appreciate that, and I still intend to be honest and open on here and to my friends and the people who actually have been good to me over the piece. I just don't think I can go on being honest and giving 100% in the workplace, where efforts have, 99.9% of the time gone largely unnoticed

Isn't it Ironic? Don't you think?misshapenmindMay 2 2006, 10:56:23 UTC
"I think a little "thank you" or a "you did good!" once in a while is a small price to pay for a tonne of effort and a job well done."
Why would people bother if you, yourself, don't? You get what you give. Hope you remembered to thank appropriately the person who landed you (and me)a job in the media (You know? The person in the dark that never gets credited...)better than you thanked the person who was trusting you enough to let you sleep in their room for quite some time when you first arrived. (would you do that yourself?I don't think so!)
On another note, Moz yesterday was shit. If you're attending any of the tour dates, you'll get to see it for yourself. He only sung new material and did a "one song" encore. Never seen such a disappointed audience and even then, they still loved him.
Maria, I wasn't talking about my friends in that post, I was talking purely in a work-sense ! I know the entry is a little ambigious and it lacks focus and clarity and whatever, but if you read it through, it does make sense that I am talking about the jobs I have had in the past and the lack of even just the slightest bit of respect from my employers. I know there's got to be a hierarchy within the workplace and someone has to be the boss, and someone else has to be the little worker ant or whatever...but I just can't give 100% when it's so clear I am not even....well....liked!
I do care a lot about you guys, very much so, and if you don't think that's true than you are unbelievably wrong. You are way, way wrong.
AND I was drunk as fuck when I wrote that entry. Not really an excuse, but it was a bit of a pissed up rant. Better than headbutting somebody on the street and getting put through a shop window or something, but writing an obnoxious and self-pitying Livejournal entry is about as boisterous as I can get.

You just don't care about those who consider you a friend and appreciate you.
End of story.
