Time for Warhammer 40k again! The past few days have involved a fair bit of tactical musings and army calculations, culminating last night in an inventory of all the Orks I have, and what still needs to be built. There's a bit more out there for Necrons in the way of Apocalypse datasheets. GW released a follow-up book called "Apocalypse: Reload" that includes a few, including one Necron arrangement that allows me to on every turn roll a d6, then consult a chart telling me how many new scarab swarms/tomb spyders I can deep strike in that turn.

Yikes. I missed the Reload stuff. I got a huge kick out of the "Rok 'Em Boyz" strategic asset: 1d3 strength D 10" templates that scatter 1d6 feet. Hilarity!

Yeah, that's gotta be rough. Like being the only one in the room who doesn't play World of Warcraft regularly. That's why I try to be an omni-nerd, at least somewhat familiar with a number of bizarre hobbies. Gives you something to do other than smile and nod. Of course, I kind of enjoy looking through giant rulebooks, anyway; that plan may not work for everybody.
