Musings from the other side (which might or might not be voidness)

Lately I find that I've been reading a lot of alternative comics and listening to a lot of progressive rock, folk and blues (I mean some really out there stuff). When I started thinking about certain fashion movements in society like rave, hip-hop and goth. I came to the conclusion as someone who considered themselves out of the norm and generally ( Read more... )

I'm stuck in the middle as well. All my goth friends swear I am not goth and all my non goth friends swear I am goth. *sigh* Damn annoying to be labeled either of those if you ask me. *lol*

It was actually an ad campaign to stop littering in Texas. My bro started using it and I thought it was pretty funny can't say quite why. Oh and if you DO mess with Texas best bet is to change your identity and move to a new country, I hear Finland is nice this time of year ;)

Oh my Sister! sexystudent21 March 25 2006, 04:01:26 UTC
Your my sister therefore I have a little insight into the matter, you are crazy, fun, can go anywhere in the world and find someone you know and/or make friends with anyone, and most of all you can run along side a bus for quite a while. We come from a family that is different and "unlableable" and fuck all those boring people that love lables. Lables are bad and can cause mass murder. Not kidding. I also believe that you shouldn't mess with Texas. In the immortal words of Eddie Izzard, "You kill 10 people, and the send you to Texas where they throw a brick at you and kill you." Texas=Death!!!

P.S. Cake or Death!!!!!!

Many morals of your stories seem to suggest that it is unadvisable to mess with Texas. Wonder why... Is it because you were born there, so it' 'don't mess with Skulde', or because Texas hired George Bush as a governor, and who knows what other bizarreness they will come up with?

"Don't Mess with Texas" also sounds like a good name for a punk band. A goth band?

Wellll....... skulde13 March 28 2006, 16:25:25 UTC
I don't think people should mess with Skulde she bites and has a mean streak a mile wide. I just think that's a funny moral like "Always keep you pants and powder dry." Oh btw I hope that Texas can't produce anything more bizarre then Bush, I don't think we could handle it. I als think that's an awesome name for a band and I HAVE been thinking of taking voice lessons, hmmmmmm!!!!!

I think that is the best way to understand people and the easiest way to live - just to do/listen/wear what you like. Not what you must do, just because you're goth, rocker or any other. That's nice - not to put yourself in margins.

PS. Sorry, my english is not very good.

I think it's cool although most of your posts I can't read, I usually have a friend translate them for me. You sound pretty neat, I think we have a lot in common so please continue to write, I'll try to respon when I can.
