So we found out yesterday that we're having a boy. I would have been happy either way, but I am a LITTLE disappointed that I probably won't be sharing "Pride and Prejudice" or "Anne of Green Gables" with, shall we say, such a willing audience later in life. I have been having a wonderful time lately working on mine and Matt's genealogy. It's a big hobby of mine, being a history nerd and all. Sometimes, you dig up interesting things: my ancestor was imprisoned for witchcraft in Cambridge, MA! Matt's ancestors were on the Mayflower ( Read more... )

I'm not gonna lie. Having a 30-page chapter done of my dissertation and the summer is only half over, on top of knowing that my fellow classmates haven't even started, feels damn good. Huzzah!
