No. the future is unknowable. Unless you start makeing decisions on you prophecy, then it becomes self fulfiling but its still not prophecy.  for long term ( past you life time ) its simply social preediction.  As for

it keeps cutting off the end of my post... as for writers block it happens alot. I suggest the use of drugs to stimulate your right brain. mmmmmm drugs...

In Bablyon 5, they had this thing where Londo knew how he would die, because he had dreamed it. (Centauri often have prophetic dreams of their deaths.) In a final season episode, he is comatose from a heart attack and sort of on trial in his dreams for why he should or shouldn't go on living. Dream Londo protests to dream Vir that he knows he isn't going to die now anyway, because of his prophetic dream; dream Vir responds that the thing about that prophecy is that if he dies right now than all it was was a dream.
