A new Earthbound game is coming out. Man, I never thought I was but I must of been a geek when I was a kid, comics and games. Ah, childhood!
Eathbound/Mother (as in Mothership) was amazing when I first played it on the SNES, its got aliens and fights and jokes and general madness. Everything I wanted from a game. Really. Its cool like me. And thats ( Read more... )

I've never played Earthbound! I also think video games are getting better all the time. I always end up liking new Mario and Zelda games, but I don't really like the newer Sonic and Megaman.

You really should! Really!

And I don't want to put my childhood games under an adult microscope but the characters in Mario and Zelda are intentional empty and silent so you can be the characters where as Sonic and Megaman started making the characters talk and added shitting side characters that no one likes, so no one want to play any more. That and they are designed really badly now.
